Jimit is currently a Staff Sofware Engineer at MapR. He works on MapR-DB which is a part of MapR's Converged Data Platform. MapR-DB is an enterprise-grade, high performance, NoSQL Document database management system that supports popular JSON Document format with advanced security features like Field-level Access Control and Auditing. Before MapR, Jimit worked at NetApp, Inc for 4 years followed by Skyera, Inc. He has received his MS in Information Networking from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh and a Bachelor of Engineering in IT from the University of Mumbai. He originally hails from Mumbai, India.
