John Berns is the Solutions Architect for MapR (Asia Pacific & Japan), helping companies implement enterprise-class data platforms based on Hadoop. Previous to MapR, John worked for Singtel and managed the Hadoop analytics for Mig33, one of Asia’s largest mobile social networks. John is also founder and co-organizer of BigData.SG, Hadoop.SG and DataScience.SG.
