John is a data enthusiast, security nut, and all around tinkerer. He's been working in the data space, with a focus on fraud and security threats, for the past four years after transitioning from a "data-less" information security role. He'll never go back to security without data! John loves to try new things and meet folks with a similar passion for data and security. At Zions Bancorp, his responsibilities include fraud analytics, internal/external threat intelligence, and investigation/incident response data gathering with Zions Bancorp's big data platforms. His OSS experience includes Apache Spark, Apache Hive, Apache Drill, Myriad, Docker, Marathon, Mesos and iPython Notebooks.
