Merritte Stidston has over 20 years of IT experience. He worked for Andersen Consulting in Frankfurt Germany and later with GE Capital Consulting developing applications for the Georgia Department of Education and the United States Department of the Treasury. He has extensive experience in ecommerce applications where he provided level 3 support for Macy’s.com and Bloomingdales.com for 5 ½ years at Macy’s Systems & Technology. He also managed the mainframe performance team and spent several years supporting Macy’s Stores organization. He moved to McKesson Corporation in 2008 where he transformed their two largest development data centers physical server infrastructure to a converged infrastructure model and implemented high velocity virtualization with VMware’s vCloud Director and NSX tools. He has spoken at multiple HP Discover conferences in Las Vegas, NV, Frankfurt, Germany and at multiple VMworld conferences in Las Vegas, NV, San Francisco, CA and Barcelona, Spain. He worked closely with Intel on early implementations of their TXT technology and integrated it within secure virtual environments. In 2011 McKesson recognized him with the Distinguished Technologist award, and in 2012 he was a runner-up as a McKesson Fellow. Today he is working with colleagues across McKesson to develop data and analytic services to support McKesson’s Better Health 2020 initiatives. He graduated from California State University, Fresno with a degree in Business specializing in Marketing.
