As Director of Big Data Analytics at ThrivOn I am responsible for design of innovative architectures, development of methodologies and delivery of solutions in Big Data, Business Analytics, and Data Warehousing.
For over a decade, I led teams, designed, architected, and delivered data solutions, including large-scale data management, integration, and analytics projects. My experience is both in the commercial and public sectors and my projects have been domestic as well as international. Before joining ThrivOn, I worked as the Practice Leader of the Adaptive Data Warehouse (ADW) practice for PPC (AEA), where I was responsible for defining PPC's technology strategy, reference architectures, and methodologies for data warehousing, business intelligence and information management services. In that role, I spearheaded the design and architecture of AEA's Sustainability Management Framework (SMF).
Some of my numerous specialties include data warehouse design, modern data architecture, business data modeling, information architecture, design of big data & analytics platforms and Enterprise Information Management strategy.
Over the years I have authored several research papers in Information and Knowledge Management and frequently presented at business intelligence and data warehousing user groups. My paper outlining an Information Management System model was a feature of the month on ManagementFirst.com and is a recommended reading in Australian Institute of Management's curriculum.
