Venkat Gunnu is a Senior Data Engineer at MapR Technologies, where he helps MapR clients architect and design big data applications. Prior to MapR, Venkat worked with SIG, Intel research, and Dow Jones, architecting and building low-latency, high-volume applications using GigaSpaces, FPGA, NoSQL, C++, Java and dotnet. Venkat holds a Master’s degree in MIS from Central Queensland University in Australia, as well as a B.Tech degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Nagarjuna University in India.
